Day 1 – 7: Malelane to Swakopmund

Our first week was spent driving the long distance to Swakopmund.

Namibia is beautiful. Green and lush after the recent abundant rains. More than we have seen it in many years, and we cannot wait to see the arid north of Namibia after these rains.

We will join the group to the Kunene mouth tomorrow morning at Henties Bay and have stocked up on fuel, braai wood, water, etc.

Cell reception is zero for the next week until we reach Puros.
